Teachers - ACS Sustainable Management of Hotels and Restaurants
THE CONTINUING EDUCATION AND BUSINESS SERVICES OF THE CENTRE D'ÉTUDES COLLÉGIALES À CHIBOUGAMAU is looking to hire teachers for the Attestation of Collegial Studies (ACS) "Sustainable Management of Hotels and Restaurants – LJA.20".
The training program will be delivered in English.
Partial coverage for lodging and travel expenses will be provided for in-person teaching.

Duration: 45 hours
Requirements: Hold a bachelor's degree in tourism and hotel management, administration or any other degree in the field of hotel or restaurant management combined with relevant experience;
Have 3 to 5 years of relevant professional experience.

Title: Business in second language (French)
Duration: 75 hours
Requirements: Hold a bachelor's degree in teaching French as a second language or any other combination of education and relevant experience;
Have 3 to 5 years of relevant professional experience.

Title: Responsible sourcing of goods and services
Duration: 45 hours
Requirements: Hold a bachelor's degree in administration , tourism and hotel management or any other degree in the field of hotel or restaurant management combined with relevant experience;
Possessing a graduate diploma in eco-advising or any other advanced degree related to sustainable development will be considered an asset;
Have 3 to 5 years of relevant professional experience.
Specific requirements
- Have relevant experience in applying online teaching strategies using digital tools, particularly in the use and operation of the digital learning environments Moodle and Teams;
- Have relevant experience with First Nations or Inuit communities will be considered an asset.
Workplace
The training will be delivered in person in Eeyou Istchee (Northern Quebec). The training may also be partially offered in a hybrid format, including some online teaching. The teacher may be required to travel to various Cree communities in Eeyou Istchee, as well as Saint-Félicien and Chibougamau on a few occasions, notably for group training seminars and workplace visits for individual follow-ups with students.
