Teachers - ACS Sustainable Management of Hotels and Restaurants
THE CONTINUING EDUCATION AND BUSINESS SERVICES OF THE CENTRE D'ÉTUDES COLLÉGIALES À CHIBOUGAMAU is looking to hire teachers for the Attestation of Collegial Studies (ACS) "Sustainable Management of Hotels and Restaurants – LJA.20".
The training program will be delivered in English.
The courses will be offered online or in the workplace in the Cree communities of Northen Quebec.

Course: 430-983-FE
Title: Marketing of products and services in hotels and restaurants
Duration: 45 hours
Requirements: Hold a bachelor's degree in tourism and hotel management, administration or any other degree in the field of hotel or restaurant management combined with relevant experience;
Have 3 to 5 years of relevant professional experience.

Course: 430-944-FE
Title: Hosting service management
Duration: 60 hours
Requirements: Hold a bachelor's degree in tourism and hotel management, administration or any other degree in the field of hotel or restaurant management combined with relevant experience;
Have 3 to 5 years of relevant professional experience.

Course: 430-926-FE
Title: Event management I
Duration: 90 hours
Requirements: Hold a bachelor's degree in tourism and hotel management, administration or any other degree in the field of hotel or restaurant management combined with relevant experience;
Have 3 to 5 years of relevant professional experience.
Specific requirements:
▪ Have relevant experience in applying online teaching strategies using digital tools, particularly in the use and operation of the digital learning environments Moodle and Teams;
▪ Have relevant experience with First Nations or Inuit communities will be considered an asset.
Workplace
The training will be delivered in person in Eeyou Istchee (Northern Quebec). The training could also be offered online. If the teaching takes place in person, the teacher may be required to travel to various Cree communities in Eeyou Istchee for group training seminars and workplace visits for individual follow-ups with students.
