DISCIPLINE: PROFESSIONAL THEATRE AND THEATRE ARTS (560/561) (02 PRODUCTION) *TYPE OF CONTRACT: Part-time contract representing full and/or part-time workload. N.B. This vacancy is to replace an instructor away on an authorized leave and will terminate, without prior notice, upon the return of the instructor. **AREA OF EXPERTISE:*** To teach: a) Costuming 2 561-A4C-AB (team taught) b) Career Management 2 561-A6E-AB 1 section)
*QUALIFICATIONS:*
PROFESSIONAL THEATRE (561) AND THEATRE ARTS (560)
- Bachelor's or equivalent* degree in Theatre Arts
OR
- Diploma from a Conservatory School or post-secondary theatre program with extensive and specialized experience
OR
- Bachelor's degree in a related field may be considered
- Minimum of 3 years directly related experience in the profession
- Demonstrated knowledge of the particular subject (s) to be taught
- Ability to teach in other theatre areas an asset
- Several years related teaching experience at the post-secondary level preferred
- Ability to collaborate within a departmental team to achieve common objectives
- Excellent English communication skills essential

Bilingualism (English/French) and ability to teach in French are preferred, as in the context of Bill 96 and the changes to the Charte de la langue française, if there is a need, the candidate must be willing and able to teach in French.
