JOB SUMMARY: Reporting to the Coordinator of the Communications office, the incumbent is responsible for developing and implementing digital media plans to measurably drive digital conversion for the College's various audiences.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop organic digital media plans to measurably drive digital conversion for the College's various constituencies. Ensure the creation and execution - full implementation of organic digital campaigns and initiatives and measure performance, make recommendations and implement actions for continuous improvement: - Translate business objectives into digital communications objectives; - Create and communicate communications targets and programs; - Create and manage organic campaigns (email, Meta, LinkedIn, etc.) in accordance with editorial guidelines, budgets and deadlines; - Write advertising copy for various paid and organic digital campaigns (Meta, LinkedIn, newsletter writing, etc.); - Develop and implement a referencing strategy to increase the visibility of John Abbott College on the Web to ensure maximum exposure; - Manage digital results, including initial planning, implementation, monitoring, optimization, analysis and reporting; - Make recommendations and take action to achieve them.

Ensure the improvement of website performance and user satisfaction using various tools (user experience testing, page traffic reports, etc.).

Monitor the College name and reputation on social media in line with College Policy No. 21 Communications Policy. Continuously monitor the digital landscape to find ways to produce content and achieve business objectives more effectively.

Share their knowledge of best practices, train and support users on the use of social media related

Perform any other tasks as requested.

EDUCATION:

An undergraduate degree in an appropriate field of specialization, particularly:

- Communication;

- Marketing

A specialisation in digital, e-commerce, interactive communication or a related discipline preferred.

SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS

  • Advanced English – oral and written
  • Advanced French – oral and written
  • Excellent knowledge of machine translation software, Google Analytics, Google Ads (AdWords, Display, YouTube), Google Tag Manager, Facebook Ads Manager, LinkedIn Ads
  • Knowledge of email campaign tools
  • Good knowledge of SEO
  • Knowledge of technologies associated with website management (CMS, WordPress) and basic knowledge of HTML will be considered assets
  • Great attention to detail

Testing may be required to demonstrate knowledge of:
